Paph. malipoense is one of the more newly discovered parvisepalum species heralding from China and parts of Vietnam. These plants have beautiful dark green leaves which are wavy and tessillated in dark blue green checks. The plants can very often be up to 1 foot across when mature and can produce several growths. The flowers are exciting with spikes sometimes between 15\" and 30\" tall with large flowers from 4-6\" across that are greenish yellow with chocolate tessellation on the petals and purple spotting in the nice big pouch. This is one of the very few Paph. that has a fragrance!
This is a blooming size plant.
