A member of section Formosae, also called the Nigrohirsute Dendrobium for the black hairs on the pseudobulbs and leaves. This species is native to south-west China, northern Thailand, and northern Vietnam. This is a miniature to compact species. Growths will be 3” – 6” tall. Plants prefer bright direct light and need to dry out between watering. Small pots and mounting are suggested.
