Dendrobium secundum


This is a warm-growing Dendrobium species in the section Pedilonum , also called the toothbrush orchid as all the flowers turned in the same direction like a tooth brush.This orchid is native to south-east Asia. The pseudobulb bears 40-50 small pinkish flowers with an orange lip.

In this group, the individual flowers are small but the plants produce large multiple clusters of them all at once, making a spectacular display. Winter rest required, and flowers will only appears on leafless canes.
